Introducing the Samson Q2U USB/XLR mic shock mount holder. This shock mount is amazing at reducing noises such as knocks or bumps. When you connect your mic, no adapter is needed; you can simply clamp it in place. We definitely recommend this product.

The shock mount comes with a 5/8" to 3/8" screw adapter for easy connection to a universal microphone boom or stand, such as your Rode PSA1 mic stand. The sturdy clip on the shock mount can hold a fairly heavy dynamic mic, preventing it from falling. Additionally, the 180° adjustability allows you to angle the microphone as desired.

Using the shock mount is easy: 1) Push the two metal levers together to open the inner part wide enough to slip the microphone into it. 2) Move the microphone into the desired position. 3) Push the two metal levers back together to secure the mic in place.
